How it started
“How about turning an entire prison into the TV series La Casa De Papel, giving our guests a chance to live out their own TV episode?” With this creative spark, we designed a 3-day kick-off event for our client, featuring a thrilling ‘prison escape’ as the highlight.
Our client asked, “Can you top all our previous events and make our 2020 objectives unforgettable for our team?” Absolutely! In just a week, we proposed the ‘Escape To The Future’ kick-off event. The concept: we ‘locked up’ all 150 staff members, challenging them to break free from 2019 and embrace the targets, goals, and challenges of 2020. It was a one-of-a-kind blend of a kick-off meeting and an escape game.
Program
A luxurious journey to captivity
On the first day, all participants met at Hotel NASSAU in Breda. Buses were waiting to take them to a secret destination.
Getting into the spirit
When we arrived at Breda Penitentiary, everyone put on their Casa de Papel costumes. It was quite a sight as they walked into the prison.
Complete silence during the opening speech
The main goal of the event was to talk about the plans for 2020. The serious tone was set right from the start during the opening speech.
Time to break out
No boring meetings here! Instead, we had a thrilling escape game with challenges like those in an escape room.
5-star catering
When you're trying to escape, you're bound to get hungry. That's why we made sure our "prisoners" had great food throughout their adventure.
